This engaging Balinese shadow puppet play (wayang kulit), performed by the Jaga Alam Ensemble and directed by master artist Made Moja, is part of the Jaga Alam project. The project aims to raise environmental awareness through the arts.
In Lutung and the Bees, Lutung, a monkey messenger, navigates a forest community facing critical environmental issues such as deforestation, habitat loss, and pollution. The performance showcases traditional Balinese puppetry while addressing the urgent need to protect our natural world.
